Communication failure on all levels: 1. There's no apparent indication of the closure of this place on their website. 2. The notice on the door says they are still open for take-outs (they aren't.) 3. A phone call to the number posted on the door was put on hold for several minutes; the conversation first went fine, then suddenly they couldn't hear me. By the time they admitted they could hear me fine, they told me the menu I was ordering from wasn't available. 4. If you order take-out, be prepared to be kicked out of their establishment the second your card is charged and they get your tip (I tipped them 18% on a take-out order as a show of good faith and support, but I don't think they deserve a penny). 5. I was told that the kitchen was just \packing it up\ five minutes past the promised deliver time. The supposed packing up took another fifteen minutes. The order arrived when I was about to come in and cancel it. Food wise, part of the grilled chicken is burnt badly and tastes bitter. The only redeemable quality of the dish is the sauce, which didn't save it.

Beautifully appointed restaurant, accommodating staff, fabulous food...and the cocktails - need I say more?!?
Setting is that of a well appointed New England style colonial home. Menu is small, simple but extremely well executed. When we went there was one duck, chicken, beef, fish, seafood and vegan main dish. A raw bar with oysters or clams and wines and cocktails. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. At first it can feel formal maybe even a little intimidating but in the end is very friendly. The Cuban themed cocktails went down too easily. The steak, duck and fish dishes were very nice. And so was the vegan cauliflower “steak”. It came sitting on a bed of tasty wild rice. I enjoyed it tremendously. The staff was friendly, funny and extremely attentive. The prices were not cheap. But you wouldn’t expect it to be. Great location to have a memorable occasion or event at.
