Best brisket sandwich and ribs in Canterbury!! It’s different than any place you will try. Even the French fries there is so yummie and crunchy. It’s way overpriced tho.

Great food from the drive thru at The Cave Hotel last week. We both had the cowgirl burger and fries, plus shared Honey BBQ Boneless Wings, Ribs & Burnt Ends all of which were delicious. The caramelised onion in the burger was amazing, can't wait to come back again for another. Although short but sweet due to covid, Sergio was a great host - greeting us at the counter, delivering our food and ensuring we had the sauces/napkins etc we needed for our evening dinner date in the car.

A great first experience. Almost everything on the platter my friend and I shared was delicious (my only complaint there is that there wasn't a lot of meat on the chicken) and the cocktail I had was great with a beautiful presentation. When one of the sides was sent back hardly touched, it was taken off the bill and, as a good gesture, the dessert (my absolute favourite part of the whole meal) was on the house. Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. My friend and I will definitely be going back

A great birthday meal enjoyed by the whole family. The ‘Ludicrous Cowgirl’ plus a side of sweet potato fries was more than ample for our brood of two adults and two teenagers! Ryan, our waiter, was very helpful and happily gave his recommendations for food and drinks. Very Covid aware and we enjoyed our visit feeling safe and socially distanced from other customers. Thank you!
