So nice and communal. This place exists to support its local community and provide a safe, open space to bring everyone together. Plus their jacket potatoes are to die for! And have you SEEN the cakes?! All freshly made and the slice you get is simply heavenly. I recommend the Bakewell tart.

Dog friendly cafe run by Crossways charity. I had no idea what they do as it looks and feels just like a cute little tea room. However, it's also proud of being a safe haven for promoting good mental health! They had mindfulness colouring books available and staff are on hand to sit and chat if customers need it. All done in a very gentle way - there is a little card on the table but, other than that, no fuss. The food was delicious - particularly the cheese scone - and the staff were lovely. Such a great asset for the town.

I love this place. Prices are half what you would pay anywhere else, it’s spotlessly clean, the staff are incredibly friendly, food is wholesome and freshly cooked, and it’s full of the most interesting people who are always up for a chat. Far and away the best cafe in town.

Lovrly friendly people, inexpensive but healthy food. Friendly environment, simple decor but smart and spotlessly clean
