Superb Sunday lunch. Table for 5, great service and good choice. The food felt home cooked and was delicious. We all had a roast, which was a good sized portion and shared desserts. The wine choice Is good and reasonable priced . Staff are always nice and friendly too. Thoroughly recommend.

Delicious food. Never disappointed by the quality of food. Shame I always get seated near the back, but despite this it is a nice place to go and would recommend.

We ate at The Kitchen one Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but not unpleasantly so. You do need to book. We were welcomed warmly and shown to a lovely table by the window. I ate confit duck as a starter, which had a very tasty Thai dressing, 8.50 if I remember correctly. For the main course I had Sirloin steak and fries, with green beans and fried tomato (22), which was delicious. The wine is a little expensive, we drank a good Portuguese red at 22 per bottle. This was one of the cheaper wines on the menu. Service was excellent throughout, and the owner is open and friendly. All said, a really enjoyable evening.
