We decided to go here and glad we did. A very friendly greeting as we entered the cafe and the place was nice and clean and a fresh feel to the place, the pricing was good and the place had of seating. The menu looked really good and seemed to accommodate most dietary needs, but we plumped for the cake and wasn't disappointed (a great chunk of cake ). Wouldn't have a problem coming back here..
Have popped into The Kitchen a few times during our stay in Ilminster mainly for coffee and cake, my favourite at the moment is the cappuccino cake. We did go for the 8oz steak with all the trimmings last week and can honestly say the steak was cooked to perfection, the whole meal was delicious. Well done ladies.
Great little local cafe on the high street in Ilminster. We were a party of 6 on a weekend away and they accommodated us for breakfast no problem (could be worth booking though as it seemed popular with the locals)! The cafe felt safe and COVID-19 aware. We ate just breakfast with it all being excellent, I can recommend the sausage buttie for its size and tastiness! The friendly staff were very welcoming, will be back again when in the south west!!
