Visited today, disappointed, service ok but not brilliant ,I asked for wine soda and ice, no ice in glass, when he came back I asked for a small glass of ice, answer, yes no worries, still never got it, u till we went towards bar and asked again, oh sorry forgot was reply, not as if busy, A lady bought the ice a little later. Food order limited choice but went for a burger with triple cooked chips, well arrived chips were not triple cooked, or looked like it, no taste, greasy,with full of scragg bits , burger ok. When waitress later asked how was food, I explained re chips, she said they were steamed baked and then fried, No Way , either freeze dried chips which hold grease or frozen, but even frozen chips taste better than what was served and definitely not worth the 14-75 ,better done in a fast food establishment like McDonald's, even the chip shop does better. STANDARDS HAVE DEFINITELY DROPPED. wouldn't come back here again, waitress gave my remarks to chef, who couldn't even come and talk to me, did but.p I to him in corridor, and could only describe him as a cook.
