First visit after lock down reopening. Pub well prepared in terms of maintaining safety measures for guests. Full English breakfast was generous in size and tasty. Special appreciation for served \home made\ toasts. Don't be afraid to visit this place. You will enjoy it as much as I did.

Calzone meat feast pizza wasn't much of a feast. More of a slab of dough with a chopped up bacon rasher and a squirt of sauce in the middle. 50p to make 10 to buy That's how you run a profitable business!!

We came for Sunday lunch. The blade of beef was marvelous and there was plenty....in fact we should not have had starters. We have been to this pub a couple of times and could not recommend it enough. Good covid rules too. Well done!

Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The beer garden was very well laid out and comfortable. A well thought out one way system was in place inside the pub and the staff all took Covid precautions. The food was excellent, especially the roasts.

We’ve just had a wonderful lunch at the King’s Head. We were a table of 3 with a dog and when we arrived their booking system was down and the place was very busy. In the time it took to order drinks at the bar, the manager had found us a nice table by the fire and comped our mains which was very generous. The Sunday roasts were excellent with huge Yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings. Our desserts were also delicious with generous portion sizes. The service was great despite how busy it was, and we will definitely be back.
