We came here for a Sunday lunch and we were very impressed with the food and quality of service. Can highly recommend! I had the roast pork, which was delicious. It came with the crispiest crackling, roast potatoes, creamy mash, cabbage, carrots all of them smothered in thick luxurious gravy. What a delightful meal! The missus had. the nut roast, which was delightful. Similar assortment of sides all of which were great. Will be coming back!

We stayed nearby in hope cottage, and only went along there one night near the end of our stay, as we were led to believe they were not a dog friendly pub. But not only were they dog friendly ,all the staff all the regulars were human friendly as well. Absolutely loved our night there, ended up sitting round with owner, handful of regulars and the lovely barmaid chewing the cud and having great time. Highly recommend this place
Great place to eat and drink! We had a brilliant time celebrating a family birthday on Saturday. Thank you Pat and Mike, you have managed to still keep a lovely atmosphere whilst adhering to C-19 guidelines.
