Awful place due to the awful staff. I came here as working away but was surprised by the horrendous service. Blonde Barmaid/Manager (you will know her straight away as she totally hates her role) informed me at 9pm that she could not serve me due to Covid restrictions but then continued to serve others. I ended up going to The Royal Oak.

Good old fashioned boozer with great selection of real ale, well kept
We thought that we try it out we regularly go out on a Thursday how ever we were disappointed we both had fish and chips the chips were soggy, the fish had way too much batter on and there was too many peas on the plate how ever the food was hot and the plate was hot, don't think we will go back
Great friendly pub, plenty of out door seating and dog friendly (as long as they are well behaved). Recommend.
We sat outside and had a quick drink in the sunshine.Its card payments only at the moment and you go in at the back.Lots of benches well spaced out.Some under cover for less nice days so pretty easy to keep your distance.
