Had a great lunch with some friends. We phoned to check they were serving lunch which they were. Covid safe from start to finish. Excellent outdoor space, either in the sun or under shade. Very nicely welcomed by the boss, and friendly staff. Food was excellent. Perfect experience throughout. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful Gluten Free choice. Cruising on the Coventry Canal and moored in Atherstone on Saturday afternoon and booked a table for 4 in the restaurant straight away. Fabulous, 4 different meals with friendly and cheerful service. So booked again for Sunday Lunch the following day and were not disappointed. Will definitely be calling in on our return journey. Many thanks to the Landlord and his lovely staff.

Never been here before and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely setting by the canal.... Ideal for a cool drink on a Sunday afternoon. Clearly dog and child friendly, and boats, judging by the Visitors mooring sign. Food was good but not enough variety for vegetarians. My husband enjoyed his steak and ale pie. The young staff were friendly and very accommodating. Outside pool table and mini golf added to the ambience. Look forward to a return visit. Oh... And very clean toilets.... Always a good sign!!
