Nice pub that has now had a bit of a makeover. Perfect location for sitting out the front with a cold beer on a hot sunny day watching the world go by. To date no one has discovered what happened to the rest of the kings body....

Quaint West Country seaside pub on the outside and traditional inside but even at 5.00pm on a Monday most patrons were quite intoxicated and accross the road on the waterfront many more similar people and some drug usage was not being in anyway disguised. May need to be cautious......
Caution - when we visited 3 days ago there was zero regard for either social distancing or control of the regulars. Groups of larger than six, clearly very drunk at 6pm crawling all over the floor and people going behind the bar who were not staff. Avoid.
C19 compliant, staff very helpful and efficient. Very dog friendly but the only downside was there was no dining available so we could only stay for one drink.
