Omg ! What a fabulous find! Gorgeous quality food ..5* all the way .I have eaten all over the World , on cruise ships etc and this food was outstanding and a good price too . We were joined by the owner Calvin, for a lovely chat and he and the staff are as great as the food, so welcoming , accomodating and friendly . I will be back very soon to this very lovely , little tiny corner of Wales to sample this food again very soon ! Highly recommended (Tracy . .Sheffield)

What an amazing old pub! Very cosy. Great staff. Great beers... and then they bring out some amazing food! Hidden gem. Go here!

Had sunday lunch today and had amazing food. Sadly my anxiety was through the roof as tables were literally on top of each other. The area I was in had 4 tables all within touching distance of people sat at them. People walking to the ladies toilets were touching me as they walked past as no walk way. If covid wasnt around I would highly recommend this pub for social distancing stay clear

This is the first time I have left a review simply because I couldn't be bothered, however I felt I couldn't not as this place is exceptional. Food is lovely, reasonably priced and couldn't be faulted. Staff are pleasant without being intrusive

This place is stellar. They were so accommodating when I rocked up as a sole diner before first service of Sunday lunch at 12:30. The place is rammed with locals and they mean it when they say booking is essential. As for the roast: look at it !! Amazing—will bring friends next time. And book.
