We went for lunch here (4 adults, 2 children - 3yo and 7yo). Straightforward children's menu and all well made. Simple lunch menu for adults (usual pub grub) but everything was really delicious. They also have daily fresh fish specials - my partner had the mackerel and said it was great. Lovely service. Spacious garden (my parents aren't keen on sitting inside due to Covid so this was great). Offering the 50% off Mon-Wed until end of August so meals were very cheap! Highly recommend.

Lovely garden bar very helpful friendly staff .
Having been in the Kingfisher on several occasions over the past few years I was delighted to find it not only open but both busy and operating in a COVID-safe manner. The layout both indoors and outdoors rather lends itself to social distancing which meant one could enjoy a drink without worrying too much about encroaching too close to others. The beer is good and fresh (although i do wish southern pubs would adopt the use of sparklers when they pull pints!) and was locally sourced from the South West. The highest praise however goes to the staff who are very courteous and welcoming to none-locals. They are extremely friendly and delightful to chat with. The interior is warm and cosy with exposed wood beams and brick throughout. Sadly i was unable to eat here this year but this is certainly a good excuse to visit again in 2021!
