Stopped here for Sunday lunch in a group of eight. We had an outside table which provided a pleasant atmosphere for a mid- walk lunch. Service was helpful, friendly and efficient. Food was varied, with something for all tastes. Everyone enjoyed their food and the real ales went down well after the first half of our walk. Would happily recommend and return.

2nd time after a lot of years, can say that I m very happy and pleasantly surprised from the decoration, so cozy, so warm and traditional elements all over the place add to the old time classic, rustic atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. What to say about the food, tried the tuna melt toasted sandwich and the chicken pesto with a small bucket of fries and it was tasty, delicious, full of flavour the pesto was freshly made the cheese was melted enough to feel the smoothness and the bread slices cut from a loaf were crunchy. Bit of salad by the side tomato, cucumber and green leaves. Highly recommend. And the walk down the morrow streets reminded me of a walk in a small island . Well done
Good food, good ales, good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Garden leads to pub entrance and cafe at the back. Live music 2 or 3 times a month.
Pretty pub and garden in a lovely location. My lamb roast was fantastic, lots of meat, selection of fresh veg which included cauliflower cheese. Recommend it.
We have never been to the King and Queen pub but as we walked passed we saw a lovely outside area with plenty of social distancing and a guitarist playing. We were greeted and taken to a table and luckily we had the table next to the guitarist. We chose a bottle of wine from a good variety for every palate and prices were good. We were served by Anna who was really pleasant and looked after ourselves well and later the landlady came over to say hello which was nice. We had a great night and Steve Osman is a very talented guitarist and provided superb entertainment. Loved it so much we have booked a table for Thursday night and it is steak night. Lovely pub, staff really friendly and welcoming, entertainment great, prices good ......what more can you want Highly recommend.
