Got a take away on the weekend and wow! Pad Thai is to die for! Lovely food. Brought back memories of Thailand! Highly recommended.

I went here for my birthday and it lacked atmosphere. The only other people who were there happened to be a couple who came in for a takeaway. I had to catch the waitress attention to tell her we were ready to order. Once we did, the food arrived in a timely manner. I didn't enjoy the starter. The chicken satay was rubbery and stiff. The prawn tempura wasn't nice and light. The chicken dumplings fared a bit better. I didn't take pics of the food. I shot videos so had to screenshot the ones included. We were left to our own device and had to chase for everything we needed by going to the counter to get someone's attention. Everyone, including the waitress was in the back the entire time, we couldn't see them. Maybe this is due to Covid-19. The ceiling was the best part of the decor. It had beautiful umbrellas on it. I also liked the blue and white plates the food was presented in. The carpet needs a good, deep clean or replacing completely. The toilet needs refurbishing. Again, extremely ancient, like going back in time. This restaurant had such good reviews, I was really looking forward to it but I was disappointed. I had the fish which was bland, no seasoning whatsoever which ruined it for me. The duck was good, however, the beef which came hot and sizzling was the star of the show. I would go back to get a takeaway of that beef dish. I told the waitress it was my birthday and she did say she'll get back to me later. After we ate, she brought a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream and a candle and sang happy birthday to me. It was a lovely gesture which I appreciated. We went to the counter, called to get someone's attention in order to pay the bill and left.

I'm amazed this has such a good review ratings. We got a 30 takeaway and were very disappointed. Generally very overpriced and food was cold. Sticky rice was 3.25 for a little bag of hard cold microwaved rice in a plastic bag smaller than my palm. Menu 'recommended' Tod Mun starter was four tiny little greasy fritters things. The pad thai was tasty but fridge cold. duck dish was tasty but was 10 and had like 4 small pieces of duck in it.

This place provides fantastic service as well as delightful food. One of my favourite places in town. The meals arrived quick and the rates are inexpensive. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Love this place. Its very traditional Thai food. Great service too. They started lunch time opening, I've went twice now. It's now my favourite local Thai restaurant. Will be going again soon:)
