Ordered the Meatloaf special. Holy smokes! The portion was huge, bacon wrapped, and slathered with gravy. Perfectly cooked with some amazing sides of mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, and a roll. The Junction also serves other great dishes and specials. The house BBQ sauce has its own flavor sweet with a hint of heat. There are other sauce offered as well if you are looking for more of that heat. If you are wanting something new, try this place out!

Ordered a three-meat platter option to-go on a Saturday evening. Although the person who took my order was in a mask, many other employees, including the cooks, were not. I ordered from the bar so I did not notice if the tables are distanced or if they're spraying down between guests. There is a small patio off the side of the restaurant. There's parking in front and behind the location. Unsure about accessible parking, entrance or restrooms. The server recommended the pulled pork, burnt ends and brisket. I always ask for my meat un-sauced so I can taste the meat and smokiness. This is about the 71st BBQ stop for us on our KC BBQ tour. Brisket was very dry, flavorless. Pulled pork was moist but had more of a black pepper flavor vs hickory or smoke. Burnet ends were very good, had an excellent bark. Beans have meat in them, they're pretty good. The cole slaw was unremarkable.

Everyone in my office eats here a few times a week. We love it. Incredible gouda mashed potatoes.

My daughter and grandsons took me there for my birthday brunch. Our food was fantastic and the lady that waited on us was terrific. There are so many menu items I want to try so I may have to go back again and again. My daughter said they go there every week and have always had a great experience. I can't wait to try some of the burgers, some onion rings and their beans. I also want to try their salads. I'll be back...soon.

Ate here for the first time after hearing from a friend about their positive experience. The place did not disappoint. If you are one of those people who believe that KC has too many BBQ joints, check this place out before you judge. I had the recommended burnt ends and they were fantastic. I'm a burnt end fan. Unlike many places that serve their burnt ends overdone, these burnt ends were perfect. My food critic, my wife, even liked them and that says a lot. Only thing that could have been better is if I had extras to take home. We seem to always have extras when we eat out. Not here. We ate it all. Almost a first for my wife and I.I would try the burnt ends!
