Wasn't impressed. I ordered topside beef roast dinner. Roast potatoes burnt Yorkshire pudding Black. Like chewing on charcoal. Won't be going back. Staff were miserable and waited a while before the disappointment meal showed. Kids roast dinner the same he didn't touch it. Waste of money.
Food and staff spot on and it was nice to see my friend Steven aka upside down head hes a great addition to a great run pub ,well done all great steak pie

This evening there was a family having their table ended which hearing the young lads questions seemed a surprise .Some of the other customers did not seem welcoming and moaned and stared a lot I won’t be taking my grand children there it didn’t seem child friendly to me it’s a shame the food is usually really good perhaps staff need to be mindful eating out with your family is a treat and not inexpensive and adults have the evening when they’ve left to enjoy the absence of little ones They have a choice.
