Nice pub, really friendly staff. Personally, I think sitting outside was much nicer than inside. I sat in the conservatory area which didn't have a particular nice atmosphere, with people walking past your table quite a bit. Food was good. I ate at lunch time and had the burger which was of a high standard. I tried the duck leg and sausages also, which both were tasty. Presentation was good and cost was responsible. Do recommend visiting this pub in conjunction with visiting the nearby beach. It's just a 10 minute walk to the pub!

After an exciting wet and windy walk to Ayrmer Cove the Journeys End provided a welcome sanctuary and a warming fire. The pub has all the Charm of an unspoilt traditional English Hostelry offering excellent local brews and homemade fayre. I would highly recommend this establishment for a visit to sample the best food, hospitality and good beer.

What a welcome meal after a day of walking and swimming. Nina was so accommodating (we booked at short notice) and could not have been more attentive. The food was out of this world, beautifully presented and the taste to match. One could have been dining at one of England's top restaurants. I highly recommend a visit to this out of the way historical inn. One word of advice, call them first to book and check the eating times. Thank you all at 'Journey's End'

What a fantastic pub!! Great atmosphere, superb food and friendly staff. Very COVID aware - reminding people to stick to their table where possible and avoid too much wandering around. Child friendly and dog friendly. If you are visiting the area you really must pop in!
