Love the jolly Roger been many times always friendly and the owner knows us by our names Its both take away and seated cafe Food always lovely place clean and tidy not been has often in 2020 due to the ongoing restrictions of covid but will be back in 2021 when it all settles.

Came in yesterday for our first visit there. Very impressed with staff, social distancing and cleanliness. The food although 0only chippy food was the best ever. Not many chippys do a soft steak pudding but it was superb. My fussy pregnant daughter ate all her meat and potato pie and chips. Keep up the good work were coming again
My favourite fish and chip cafe. ordered plaice and chips. Absolutely delicious! the batter is the best, so light and crispy. Their homemade tartare sauce is the best i have tried. Well worth a stop, should win a national award.
The Jolly Roger is a lovely place, very welcoming . Delicious freshly made food . The proprietor Tasso is a wonderfully kind thoughtful man , nothing is too much trouble. Gaynor and Alan Carter.
Had a lovely cod and chip dinner Very nice crispy batter and perfect portion Excellent value for money This will definitely be the chip shop I recommend to anyone wanting to dine in
