Absolutely brilliant pub with great hearty Yorkshire food! Totally chilled and relaxed atmosphere! A great asset to the village and the community everyone extremely friendly which of course is backed up by an extremely friendly village in general! Worth mentioning that after having fish and chips all my life this pub has the best fish and chips on a Friday night I’ve ever had in my life!

My parents, wife, 10 month old daughter and I had a great time at the Jolly farmer today, the food was excellent, the staff really friendly and so were the locals. A little hidden gem -this place, and certainly worth a trip! Even the baby loved it :)
Stopped at the Jolly Farmer for a quick pint on a bike ride from Leeds to Malton. Plan was to eat in Malton but we changed plans when we saw the food delivered to the next table. I had the steak & my partner had an amazing warm salad with perfectly cooked vegetables. Very friendly and welcoming staff too. Highly recommend.

Great pub! Food was excellent, service was great, friendly patrons. Dog welcome. Prawn cocktail, pork belly was divine!! Apparently so is the black pudding, salmon and the steak! Highly recommend the Jolly Farmer Inn.
