Very fast service albeit first thing in the morning - still busy though. Food is good and staff always pleasant. No clutter on tables from the previous customer. Toilets clean as is the overall bar/tables
A favourite pub when staying in Newcastle, it's a short trip out but well worth it, if you want to eat outside the bustling city centre. It's very comfortable and the food is both great value and good. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, best spoons in the city.
Set off well, queued in the cold for half an hour at night, only to be shown to a minuscule table miles away from the toilets. Bearing in mind I have a mobility disability. We then ordered our drinks and food, only to receive our drinks unstirred. Then to be told we had to leave after 1 mouthful of my drink as we had an under 18 in our party, who was drinking lemonade! Absolutely ridiculous and terrible service. Would not recommend for families. Ludicrous experience.
