So, I grew up in St. Charles and have lived here for over 40 years. This building is quite unique and has had numerous businesses over the years. But...Jalapeno Grille has been there the longest. When it opened, I thought it would be a flash in the pan and be gone in a couple of years. Wrong. Here is why, the food is outstanding. I love the steak tacos. Everything is fresh and made to order. My favorite? The veggie burrito is the best around. I'm not sure how they make their refried beans, but they are extremely flavorful. My guess is they also make all their salsas on site as they are really fresh and tasty. The menu is extensive and offer non-Mexican items if someone in your group is not a Mexican food fan. But, one of the coolest things here is the murals on the outside of the building. They totally add to the character and uniqueness of this place. If you are looking for fresh Mexican food that is always spot on, this is the place if you are anywhere close to St. Charles.

The food is so good here and so are the prices. The service is very quick and always so nice.
This place absolutely DOES NOT disappoint. Every time I come here the food is absolutely spot on. This is my go to place for Mexican food around the Tri-City area
