Wow. Amazing place. The service is second to none. We were looked after and treated like celebrities. I got called sir! Was lovely. Food was spot on. What a lovely restaurant! The decor is amazing, the atmosphere was great and the food was even better! Top marks!

I was really excited for the Ivy. For years everyone had been telling me how great the Ivy was. To be honest I expected more. My steak was very dry and well not at all to the level I was expecting. Otherwise food was quite good, broccoli was really good. My wife went with the set menu and had a reasonable experience. Great setting and great service, otherwise nothing to rave about.
I enjoy the ambience and food at the Ivy but each time that I've been, the drinks that we order as we are seated, take ages to arrive. We receive our starters before our drinks and we can often see them sitting at the bar waiting to be brought to our table. The Ivy is a well oiled machine in terms or table turnaround and staff are always busy and carrying out their roles with care and experience. I know it may sound like a trivial matter, but the Ivy is not an everyday visit for me and I would like to have my drink before my food arrives. The food has always been excellent and the experience is always enjoyable.
I do not know where to begin ....it is the full package ..the real deal...from the moment you step to the reception desk ...to the moment you leave ...you feel like you are VIP. Waited on in the most professional way. The staff are all part of a well oiled efficient machine. The food is superb. Taste fantastic quantity enough. I was served by a lady called Jasmine( I think) who balanced friendliness, efficiency and professionalism in the most fabulous way (I watched her serve a table and swap out a standard knife for a steak knife and the diner didnt even see it happen). What a place ...a must on your places to eat. Even my humble burger was not so humble....Did I mention that the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming .Go treat yourself...have a look!
My first visit to the Ivy and it fulfilled my high expectations. Smart environment, great service and very good food, at not silly prices. The only negative was a very poor choice of wines unless you are prepared to pay more than I would want to!
