Popped in on my way to devises and what a great pub! Really friendly staff and very cosy feel to the place with a proper log fire. The food was really tasty and you could tell it wasn't from frozen and definitely home made. I'd certainly recommend this place and will hopefully visit again.

On Friday night we phoned The Ivy who asked us to Facebook them our takeaway order for Saturday night which we did. We got no confirmation and when we went to the Ivy to collect our food it was shut! A guy in a \The Ivy\ van who was in the car park told me he had been in hospital and hadn't read his messages so...not food. Seems its just him and he doesn't have any staff. I wondered about everyone else's orders too. Really bizarre experience

Comfortable country pub, friendly staff, welcoming, cosy, real log fire, food is delicious and really generous portions. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
