Wow!! We had the valentines set menu. Firstly there was enough food to feed 4 adults. The food was sensational, great service from picking the phone up to the food being delivered. Can't wait to be able to come and dine in the restaurant. Tonight did not disappoint. Thank you

Fantastic food every time on time and on the money... This is by far the best curry house around.... Forget Rusholme kids, i mean who needs a 'curry mile' with the Indian Palace on your doorstep.... Cheers guys.....you so funny

I have no idea why this place isn’t much higher than its review. We had been putting it off because it seemed quite empty and of course the reviews BUT the customer service was FANTASTIC and the food was absolutely brilliant. They were able to cook it to our spice level too! really good and I’d say the best place in Buxton. Shout out to the employee who had been there for over 20 years and worked at the palace hotel too! He was such a good host!

Sat down at 7 finally got food at 8:45. Service is so slow and simply not good enough. When we brought up the wait we were simply told that our food would be next, which it wasn't. The food was hot when it finally arrived and it was nice although nothing to call home about. One positive is the onion bahji portions. You get 4 for 3.50. Several customers complained about the wait and one asked for some discount to which she was told no and given the reason of \the boss isn't here\. The service just really let's the place down.

Very well located in buxton with easy access from the Palace hotel and also from the station. Restaurant may get busier after 7 so booking a table is a better option than just walking in. We chose couple of 3 course meal option available before 7pm and it's really a good value for money. Onion pakora and veg samosa were super yummy. Chicken madras wasn't really madras but kinda disappointing. Lamb Rogan josh was good. And their Naan bread was really the worst one can think of as its very thick and Garlic naan was better than the normal one. Pilav rice was just ok. Service was just ok with only one guy serving all the tables.
