Superb little traditional pub. Fantastic beer (including Harvey's best), lovely people, music in the basement and you can bring your own food. What more could you want?
I went there on Friday 3rd January, for the first time in 50 years! It hasn't really changed that much. My friend and I were attending a reggae night in the Cellar bar. I have to say that it was cold in there for a while, but warmed up with the fire starting to burn and more people on the dance floor. Staff were friendly, as were the clientele. It was a good night in a good pub. We will go again. Worth the train ride from Basingstoke.
Proper cosy pub with good ales, friendly landlord and a banjo player in the corner.
Cool pub in an old and small house. Beer is good.
