This is the second time we have been to the Huntsman on Blaydon Bank for a mid week meal and it was as fantastic as the first time. The owners have really turned this pub around with a face lift and meals at very reasonable prices ( average price 6.95 to 7.95). The food was beautiful - the steak pie is to die and as for the real home made chips, I just died and went to heaven! My 87 year old dad lives on Loop Farm Estate so it's an ideal spot to take him for a change, we will definitely be back.
