We came to The Huntsman because the first pub we tried stopped serving Sunday lunch at 3pm and this place serves until 5pm. Two of us had beef and two had pork. Everything was very nicely cooked, the portions were very generous and there was a lot of meat. Great value at 7.95. Our boys had sticky toffee pudding and chocolate fudge cake, and both were delicious. There's a nice open fire, pool table and darts board. I couldn't drink as we were driving home from a day out but I'd have loved to have had a few pints and games of pool here. Lovely pub.

A warm friendly village pub, my first visit but it won't by my last. The quality of food was high with very generous portions, very good value also.
