A little gem of a pub situated in a lovely village. Friendly hosts, good honest to God pub grub and a cracking pint to boot! Very reasonably priced too! Will definitely eat here again on the way home from trips ‘up country’. Well worth the slight detour from the A30. Highly recommended.

Our group of 10 had lovely Sunday lunch here today. Great Yorkshire Pudding, excellent (Cod) fish & chips, roast Cod and burger, together with nice draft lager. Reasonable price. Very nice friendly pub atmosphere, and the friendliest and nicest owner!! We feel like being in an old friend’s home . Thanks, Bryan, for your great hospitality
Lovely pub! We found the place on google maps during a road trip and was a great finding! Really recommend - super friendly staff, good food and the outside sitting area was dreamy in a summer day. Will defo come back when I’m in the area again.

Excellent food and friendly staff I would recommend the fish cakes absolutely beautiful. Picture was my wife's chilli con carne jacket potato which she said was beautiful.
