I always leave The Human Canvas counting down the days until my next visit/tattoo. Martin and Nicole take the time to listen to you, making sure they understand what you want and what each piece means to you as an individual. They have a great attention to detail, along with the artistic flare and ability to satisfy anyone. The staff provide a friendly, relaxed and clean environment in which the artists keep their clients relaxed and at ease. This is one of the few places I would trust and encourage the artist to design a bespoke piece and leave happy and proud of the outcome.

So... tattoo done and I couldn't be happier. Came out better than I could have imagined. When showing my idea to Martin, he made a few suggestions and I was a bit worried but, when I saw what he was proposing, my worries went away. Turns out, it looks even better on skin! Happy as can be! As for the session itself, I had just worked a morning shift and I wasnt talking much but Martin kept picking several topics ( he is quite knowledgable!) and kept talking. Short story, when the three hours were over, it felt like it had been 30m. Amazing. Thanks Martin and family for a great tattoo and a great day
Great studio, friendly and helpful. Great advice and great artists. I've had a number of sessions with Martin and he makes it as relaxing and easy as he possibly can. (I'm not the easiest to tattoo) Designs are brilliant, I've 2 cover ups completed by Martin, perfectly covered up, no trace of my rubbish tattoos. Highly recommend. Already planning dates a number of sessions for next year.
This guy is phenomenal, has covered up some serious poor tattoos Iv got as a young lad. Not just with big dark tattoos but incredible ideas and used parts of the previous tattoo to add to the design. I tell him after each session that’s me done for a while but....... 2 full sleeves, full chest covered and knee to ankle sleeve later and I still can’t get enough. Lol Great guy and a close knit family business with his daughter Nicole producing some amazing work also. Can’t speak highly enough of the shop and the people involved with it
