We went for an early Valentines dinner to beat the crowds and we were not disappointed! Everything from the drinks, to the meal, to the staff sharing the history of the House was amazing! I enjoyed the “Spa Day” drink and the crab fried rice is to drool for! The esthetic of the house is very romantic and would highly recommend for a great date night, maybe not the first date, but after you for sure know your partner wants to stick around... but I’m not a relationship therapist, just your average Jane who likes to eat. Will definitely visit again, but fingers crossed I can get the table outside by the fireplace because it was gorgeous! Thanks House Brasserie for the wonderful evening!

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner experience at this restaurant. We got to sit on the lovely patio outside and I enjoyed the atmosphere. We started off with 2 cocktails, the green lantern and clear conscience - both were strong and tasty. We had the crab cake and arugula salad to start. Then we had the salmon and cauliflower steak for our main. All the menu items we tried were delicious, but the cauliflower meal was a bit too \hearty\ for my taste. It was my husband's birthday and they gave us 2 glasses of champagne and a delightful biscuit with cream and berries dessert. Overall I would reccomend this restaurant to others.
Incredible! We are visiting from out of state and the food plus hospitality here is beyond the 5 stars posted above. Drinks: the sangria is perfect- refreshing taste, right down the middle not too sweet, not too dry. Food: The House Burger- Oh. My. Word. Easily one of the top 3 burgers I have ever had. It has just the right amount of kick, cooked to perfection, and all the toppings compliment each other for one incredible taste. Seriously, if you like burgers, you have got to try this. Everything else: What's not to love about this place?? The atmosphere, the experience, the hospitality- all top notch. Our server Tommy was upbeat and pleasant. The owner Joe stopped by a few times and chatted with us, made sure everything was at top standards for our visit and went above and beyond to make us feel like we got the VIP treatment. If you get a chance to speak with him, ask about the story of the place, it's a cool slice of history. Thanks for making my first time (and first restaurant) in AZ memorable. Whenever I'm in Scottsdale next, The House is #1 on my list of places to stop in!
A wonderful place to visit, enjoy their chef designed meals and their wide array of wines and spirits. It's an amazing, quaint and cozy place that was once a home. We truly had a terrific experience and will definitely return and invite others to join us. Joe, the owner, was very nice and knew about the history of the home. He was charming and really cared about his clientele.
This place has such great promise... but, it is super dark and some food is served in matte black bowls. You cannot see the food! After Mentioning this twice to our missing waitress, she turned up the lighting. The food is delicious, except the salmon was served over a grossly undercooked succotash - raw and crunchy. Seasoning on one dish was so hot... my husband couldn’t taste it. He enjoys hot dishes, usually. The place is nice, the food was wonderful and needs a few tweaks. The waitress we had was a total fail. People that were seated after we placed our drink order... placed drink orders and got drinks. Then, they placed a food order and got salads and appetizers before we got our drinks. We got our appetizer after the other table got their main course. The entire meal went like this. She spent most of the night hanging out at the bar. All her failings and two dishes with undercooked veggies and an overly hot dish, did not detract from the rest of the food being fabulous.
