We went for a family get together and loved it so much we plan to go back very soon. We picked this place as it was midway between families and seemed like a nice place, I am so glad we did. The staff were so helpful, going above and beyond for us. The food was delicious, one member of the party did say there's was a little cooler but as it was so tasty she didn't want to complain. There were a lot of us, so one misshap is expected. The drink selection was amazing and the service was quick and friendly. Cant wait to visit again.

Very rustic and vintage aesthetic, but with an updated and varied menu Very friendly and accommodating staff (including the resident dog!) The wait wasn't long, even for a large group at a moderately busy lunchtime! They serve the best ice cream from Cheshire ice cream farm! And there is something for everyone on the drinks menu!

An extremely good steak, done to perfection. Efficient staff. Were seated and a drink ordered within minutes. No nonsense approach even if we have not booked. We will make a point of coming past here again on our monthly travels up to north wales. Well done. This is what it is all about.

Splendid place, we're travelling on the Llangollen and this was a fantastic place to pop into. We had a splendid dinner from the group tapas option, a couple jars and a bottle of wine. All were great and the staff were VERY accomodating and great service, also Dog friendly. If ever back in this area of the world I will definitely visit this place again

What an absalute little gold mine. Beautiful place spotless. Staff very friendly and polite. Steve the landlord was a pleasure to meet and welcomed all his customers in a lovely manner. We had food here too and i would recommend the food was amazing.100%.
