Who would’ve thought ... This is a handsome pub steeped in history. It is over 400 years old but as per the young bartender it is even older - about 600 years. Pub has great ambiance with a small cozy bar. Ample seating in the side alleyway. The bar menu is awesome. Our veg wrap and Tuna sandwich were flavorful and delicious. Coffee was simply super ...who would’ve thought!!! Give this pub a shot. It is right across the entrance to the Windsor Castle.

Nice hot spot in Windsor, if you are lucky you can find yourself a nice view from upstairs. Just ask the staff to see if are seats avaliable in upstairs room with a view. The food was nice, nice prices.

Not impressed. I guess ormally\, its \quaint old pubiness\ goes down great with tourists, especially foreign ones. But with a one way system, perspex partitions, and (slow) table only service.... It's just dead

Gorgeous little pub with a good range of draught lagers, ales and ciders. Not able to comment on the food as the kitchen was the day I was there. However, to compensate for that they gave us a coupon for food at their sister site, The Piper, down the road.

Enjoyed our lunch at our only English pub while on vacation. No I did not get fish and chips. I got an Angus beef cheeseburger. I enjoyed it very much but found it had a different taste and texture to American Angus Cheeseburgers.the pub was small but expanded to outdoor seating. My sister ordered a Steak pie invaded in pastry with side order of gravy. She also enjoyed her meal. Both came with steak fries. You order and pay upfront at the bar and you food is brought to you. This pub dates back to early 1700's.
