Can never work out why I dont go in here more often. It's a perfectly good pub, plenty of space, decent selection of beers and not too expensive (hence good rating). I think maybe it's just a bit too big, so you can't get that personal/local feel. Maybe just me, but I prefer the Traveller's just up the road.

I hadn't been here in over 20 years, the decor has changed and it certainly feels more modern with some of the original features still in place. I liked how it looked and the staff were helpful/friendly. I didn't walk around the entire place but did see they serve Thai food which looked very tasty though the price was a touch high but it could be a case of getting what you pay for. If I get the chance, I'll go back and give it a go for sure. This was a Sunday afternoon so other days might be different.
Food is very good and drinks are reasonable price .The staff is friendly and looks like great place to watch Football.
Excellent service in these dodgey times,we really enjoyed being in there.Hopefully we will be back in there next week.The food was good as well.Cheers.Del.
