Lovely village pub/restaurant. Well organised with the pandemic. Food was good although not as nice as our visit previously. This would not stop us from visiting again though.

Went for the first time on Fathers Day. Excellent menu. Duck and Bacon Hash Starter was superb. Very welcoming owners. Lovely homely feel. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Looks non descript from the outside but is one of the best quality food pubs in the area. More a venue for dining than a drinking pub.

Lovely experience at lunch time. Pleasant and attentive staff and delicious food. We had the set menu. Good selection and presentation. Cottage pie was re-imagined and quirky. Will definitely be back.
the Horse and Jockey is a great little restaurant a few minutes drive outside of Bedford. I would call it in upscale pub with great food and great service. The staff is super friendly.
