Lovely lunch outside. Everything as it should be under the COVID circumstance. Food was fabulous, staff attentive. Highly recommend

Very nice pub. The owners are 1 from Ireland and 1 from Italy. Their food is very well prepared. They organised tables outside and tgere is plenty of space. Very big parking space. The place is amazing in summer time with a lovely path through the woods and a small river. Many other tables around. Access for disable. Easy to reach from Botley village or from Whiteley village.
I feel very torn with this place. My Partner and I visited a few months ago and had the Italian tapas, it was great! However, we returned recently for a Sunday roast and were SO DISAPPOINTED! Tough meat, lack lustre vegetable selection and cheap trimmings (I presume the sad little stuffing ball was frozen?) And 9 for a child's roast?! Such a shame as we were a large party and were excited to take our families here but the empty restaurant spoke volumes.
