Super happy with our experience of the Horse and Chain today. South African run pub with SA inspired dishes. I had the special Durban beef curry and couldn't be happier. My wife is pescetarian and thoroughly enjoyed her fish cakes. Great service, atmosphere and quality. Well done.

Vile food terrible service and the owner lied to me over a voucher for 6 meals free for a complete mess up of our vile meals this was full of gristle burnt and dried out cauliflower cheese two potatoes i couldnt cut they were so hard no cutlery so couldnt eat for over 10 to 15mins no salt pepper on tables it was a joke and the owner Richard promised me vouchers for 3 course meal for 6 knowning it was closing and now ignoring me.
Great place. Great south African food as part of the menu. Clean with amazing service! Happy people just make it so much better. Well done to all the staff and the management!
Went for a boozy lunch today with our friends and our puppies. Very welcoming and gorgeous food! The Espresso Martinis on tap are amazing Thanks for a great experience, would totally recommend.
