Omg I cannot give this place enough praise. Fantastic food, best roast I have ever eaten out. Between the 4 of us we had beef chicken and lamb. Veg cooked to perfection. Everything was 100% Staff were very efficient friendly and helpful. You need to move this place to kent......

This was the second time we're visited the Hop Pole, the service and welcoming by the hosts and all the staff was second to none. On our first visit we had a 3 course meal, this time we had a hog roast, accompanied by a full day of live entertainment. I didn't take any pix, I'll do that on our next visit. The location is amazing, sitting beside a quaint canal. The food, staff and line up of entertainers made for an unforgettable day. Thanks to all, see you again soon

If your looking for a relaxing environment and great tasting food then the Hop Pole is the place to go. I opted for the hot smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich and I wasn't disappointed. The flavoursome sandwich filled me up but I couldn't resist a desert. Between us we chose the lemon tart with pickled cherries a deconstructed version arrived and again the flavours flowed, Baileys Creme brule was divine. All that great food came served with a smile from very welcoming staff. Thanks again and we will be back soon.
