Location was easy, atmosphere was good . Staff were friendly. Good hand hygiene practise and social distancing. We had the potato and onion soup and the beef roast dinner. Service was fine but they forgot my soup. The food was bland and tasteless. The beef was thin and dry. The butter had an obvious dead fly in it. It was not worth the price and was far too expensive.

A great place to have a pit stop by the botanical gardens, amazing choice of beers with a menu to back it up. Outside seating is nice but no shelter so if it's wet, it's wet! Friendly staff with a smile.

Its a quirky sort of place, all stripped pine floors and an assortment of furniture. It meanders into hallways, and separated cozy area's to a little garden at the rear. Its Bath ales pub, well St Austell really. The beer is good and well kept. The food not adventurous, but well presented...its a good pub for families, and just opposite Victoria parks, play area..

Unfortunately the food was slightly disappointing but through no fault of their own. The beer selection is good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor area is a lovely spot for a drink on a pleasant day.

DO NOT EAT HERE Food was warm, service not great, surroundings cold and uncomfortable. food was stupidly expensive for what it is. Chips looked as though they had been re fried several times. Portions not great and service not great. had to ask 3 times for water. There are many other pubs within minutes of here that are better. I asked regards to the final bill being excessive, the staff did not care in the slightest and pretty much said tough. Lots of other better places to eat or drink.
