A nice pub which like so many is trying to manage under the restrictions. Quite rightly it's table service only. Unfortunately it appeared to be acceptable for a couple of locals to go to the bar to get drinks. Not a good example for others. There isn't enough signage in the garden to let customers sitting there know that access to the toilets is not through the pub. It must be a nightmare operating in the hospitality sector at present but what is expected of customers needs to be clear and consistent for all customers. I am sure that under other circumstances it would be a lovely and more welcoming pub.

Lovely pub serving an excellent Sunday Lunch with two fantastic local ales on tap.
Brilliant pub, very welcoming and cosy. Even during the restrictions the owners were very friendly, chatty and brilliant company. Felt like we’d known them for years. They love new faces and made our air bnb escape very pleasant. P.s they loved our dog and made a right fuss of her.
Very friendly land lady nice and clean and also has a disabled toilet for any one that might need one
Lovely little pub with great staff. Good choice of drinks, unfortunately missed food would have loved to try it!
