Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was to such a high standard. Firstly, this review will not do justice to how absolutely amazing H&A are! What an incredible meal you provided for our wedding, one that we & all our guests are still dreaming about! Ged was so friendly & patient in the lead up and gave us great guidance on menu choices. On the day, all the staff were super friendly, attentive & all round service was fantastic! A comment echoed by all our guests was that it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten & that it was amazing to get restaurant quality food served in a barn, to 70 people! Thanks so much Ged & the team!
Hog and Apple are well known luxury caterers in Yorkshire and had worked at East Riddlesden on a number of occasions. We were having a secular wedding ceremony however my wife is from a Hindu family and I am from a Jewish family with a number of the guests also suffering from various food allergies. This meant that it was difficult to create a menu that suited everyone. In addition to this we also wanted to provide everyone a choice of main meal with some guests requiring vegetarian/vegan options. Hog and Apple have a huge range of menu options to choose from and although it can seem daunting at first, Ged and the Hog and Apple team were really patient and helped guide us through the process. We were abroad for the year immediately preceding our wedding but we manage to keep in contact via email and Skype and our parents attended the tasting which was an excellent opportunity to sample the wedding breakfast before the big day and to ask last minute questions. The food on the wedding day was simply fantastic, it not only tasted delicious but it was presented beautifully. I don’t think that we could ask any more of the Hog and Apple team. All of the staff were extremely attentive and the table service was perfect. Doug was coordinating the Hog and Apple team on our wedding day and he also acting as our master of ceremony and conducted the proceedings of the day - we cannot thank him enough for his help!
