I had been once before. It was as good as I remembered. Food very tasty. They had the whole covid thing very much in hand. Without it taking over. We did book, had to try a few times to get through but worth it.

Amazing. Food is really exceptional. That fine balance of bit different but still incredibly tasty. Service was brilliant too. Like most shops in Bridge of Allan, they have put a lot of thought into covid protocols and have nailed it. V clear chat at the door about how its going to work, really makes you relax and enjoy. Best place I've been for food in the area recently, and best restaurant I've been to for professional and safe but friendly covid procedures. Well done all!!

Best breakfast I’ve had in Scotland so far! We stopped here on our way down to the Lake District. It was a Tuesday morning and we got a table right away. I had eggs on toast on a bed of spinach. Husband loved it avo on toast with harissa-very flavorful! It was all sooooo good and the kids demolished their pancakes. We loved the vibe and service was good. Would definitely go back because the cakes looked so good but we were too full. 5happy campers!

Been a while since we have visited this cafe. Excellent covid precautions and coffee and scones were lovely. That was until I received the bill. Fruit scone, butter and jam was 2.90. CHEESE SCONE butter and jam was, 8.00 !!@#. Thought it was a mistake but was assured by the waitress that this was the correct price. Cheese must cost a fortune up here. I was contacted by the Hideaway Cafe today and received an apology for the mistake and received a full refund for my bill. This gesture is greatly appreciated by myself and I have updated my review accordingly.
