A lovely cafe that is accessed through a small corridor that leads into a well presented courtyard with tables and flowers etc. The cafe itself is bright and airy. We popped in for a coffee and sandwich (tuna and ham and cheese) both were excelent on quality bread were and very well presented with a nice salad . Coffee was excellent as was the service. I knocked one star off as opening times are not clear it was closed Monday and on two other occasions we visited it hadn't yet opened, annoying when travelling in. But a great pllovely

This location has been host to 5 places in the past couple of years, I really hope this one manages to stick it out. Came in for lunch and a coffee sat out side under the gazebos and it was lovely, they’ve really made the courtyard look nice. We kept on seeing people come in and then leave after having a look, which is a shame. The food was pretty good, the chips were amazing and the burger was good too, though the fish from the fish and chips was a bit bland. This place is dog friendly which makes it one of the few places in Lanark, that’s a big selling point for me.
Great food, good atmosphere. Hope you survive the repeated COVID restrictions.
First time having lunch at the Hidden Courtyard and loved it. Food was amazing and staff were excellent. Would highly recommend a visit.
