Visited on the 26th August with my wife and son. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Especially when it came to my son who is a rather picky eater. They made him a dish that wasn't on the menu. I had the steak and kidney pie, my wife the southern fried chicken platter both were lovely especially the chunky chips! If your out shopping or at a loose end it's worth popping in especially if your after an alternative to Wetherspoons

Kicked us out 3 minutes before the final whistle blaming it on Covid. Covid means closing the doors at 10pm. It was 9.50pm so an extra 3 minutes to watch the football (which was the only reason we went) would mean they had 7 minutes for us to walk 6 yards to the exit. Jokers, no point going here for any football games. The manger even made the young staff kick us out instead of explaining himself
Lovely environment and nice foods. Staff are friendly as well!
Always very tasty food. Would highly recommend eating here. Always a friendly atmosphere staff and management are brill.
