The Hen House of Wheaton is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch. They are open daily from 7am-2:30pm. With Covid restrictions in place, finding a restaurant to eat outdoors isn’t easy. This little gem of a restaurant catered to all the Covid guidelines and provided a wonderful happy experience for me and my girlfriend. The wait staff was efficient and courteous. The menu had several choices from eggs, sandwiches, salad, soup and dessert. I got the spinach salad with blackened salmon. Delicious, the fish was very fresh, and the portion was HUGE! Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Finding a safe dining option, in the winter, during the pandemic, is a challenge in the suburbs. The Hen House EXCEEDED our expectations in every aspect. Their outdoor igloos were warm and cozy. The staff, from the hostesses to the server/runner were friendly, and COVID compliant. Lastly, the food was outstanding. They have a lot of options for both breakfast and lunch, and I cannot wait to go back again!
This place is AWESOME. Perhaps the best breakfast place in the area, seriously. I ordered take out and everything was exactly as I had ordered it and ready on time, which is great, but the quality of the food was out of this world. Everything ordered was delicious! Would highly recommend the chocolate crepes, crispy french toast, stuffed biscuit and breakfast tacos. Great first experience- will definitely be back!
I’ve been here at least 5 times on the weekends. The wait staff is alway super friendly and helpful I’ve never been disappointed with any of their dishes! It’s always delicious. The coffee as well is incredible, every latte is amazing. The inside is warm and very charming, great outdoor seating for the summer. Highly recommend this place!! All time favorite
