I ordered a ball of 1.6mm Whipping Twine. What arrived was 1.0mm. I tried to complain by phone; but discovered that their \Customer Service\ number was actually a high-priced Premium Rate 0845 one. I complained about the incorrect supply by email. They demanded a photo, as evidence that the order was wrongly supplied. I took a photo of the ball, and of the twine being measured through a Vernier guage at 1.0mm. They then asked for ANOTHER photo. I gave up. All this, for a 4 ball of twine??? The Hemp Shop clearly could care a toss about their customers. A V O I D ! ! !

We use products from hemp shop daily on our projects! I am always satisfied with the quality of hemp ropes, webbing, strapping, twine and fabric!! Four years ago I ordered 3 jars of hemp salve on a special offer. It cost approx 25 and when the order arrived I found just one tiny jar. The company said they had supply issues and I could wait or take a refund. I said I would wait. They never contacted me again. I remembered this just recently and contacted them again. They were polite and responsive but to make up the order they sent me one tiny tube of hemp salve. Personally I felt a bit cheated. Maybe I'm naive as to how much this hemp product is worth but I did feel that they could have done better.
