What great meal with real customer service! I went for the belly pork and my dining companion had the smoked haddock. Both of our dishes were delicious. I've eaten around Richmond alot and without doubt this was easily the best experience we have had. I cannot recommend highly enough. My only issue was that the food look so delicious I didn't take photos! If you are in the area try and get yourself a table you won't be disappointed. Edit: photos from our return X3

What a find! Cosy little gem found in a little village. Food was amazing! We had the cheese soufflé and scotch egg to start and the fillet and lamb shank for mains. It was all delicious, I could have ate 5 soufflés. Will definitely be going again and would 100% recommend.

Popped into this pub as it was half way through our drive home based on good trip advisor reviews and were very glad we did. Firstly, the food was excellent, from the chicken and chorizo terrine, to the king prawn tempura and frangipane sponge - everything was very high quality and extremely good value. What really impressed me though was the degree of covid preparation this pub has put in place. They were by far the best prepared venue I have eaten in; sanitization on entry to the venue, acrylic shields between tables (which were already well spaced), staff wearing face shields and during our visit we saw them sanitizing surfaces on a regular basis, even though we were one of very few customers at the time. Really enjoyed our meal at the Heifer. Food was cooked and presented very well. Service was excellent. Happy to part with my money here. Well done everyone there
