What a fantastic pub! Absolutely incredible food, good beers and ales, good service, modern but cosy decor, and reasonable pricing. The puddings are perhaps a bit pricey for what they are, but the mains are well priced for their quality. I'd really recommend giving this place a go.

Great spot to rest from a day's lock work. Delicious food, good ales and a lovely view over the countryside. Vegetarian options on the menu, so everyone was happy. Just a lovely place for lunch on a sunny day.

Had a meal today here. Fish and chips..lovely. table served by a lovely young man who was very professional. In fact all of the staff were brilliant. Here's to the youngsters, great to see you all doing a good job. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it is a little pricey. But will defo go again and the canal walk is amazing.

Stopped here for lunch after a lovely morning at Hatton Country world with the kiddos. To be completely honest, the service was friendly enough but a little slow. The food was average at best, having ordered a beef burger and three chicken burgers. None of which looked like some of the pictures other customers have posted here. One of the chicken burgers was returned to the kitchen as there was virtually no chicken between the bread crumbs. All chicken was very dry and over cooked. The beef burger was slightly better. Oh also the chips had a slightly odd taste to them. My little boy had childrens fish and mash potato, which was by far the best meal at the table. Sadly, we wont be returning, which is a shame as this pub is right on our doorstep.
