Second week of roast dinner delivery and again my little dog I are so full we won’t be eating much before tomorrow! A roast dinner is such a faff when you live alone but The Hastings are making our Sundays with their delicious food delivered so well wrapped directly to the door (with social distancing!) and ready to eat. Oh yum, yum, I think,we’ve found a new Sunday habit forming and I look forward to the day I can go visit the establishment in person. The people who take the order on the phone are also lovely and they don’t mind me being a single meal .... so rare when too many establishments treat single diners as not worth the effort.

The food here is really good however I felt that there was very limited choice on a Sunday. I did like how they had a Scottish themed menu on for burns night! Overall the staff were nice. The food was really good and I felt it was very home made! Prices were decent especially for 2 courses. Would come back here!
Got a take out tonight, wow .we had the most amazing beef dinner, the beef was so delicious and tender, absolutely no stinting on portions, more like steak. Veg cooked perfectly carrots ,green beans, cauliflower, mash and roasted potatoes and of course home made Yorkshire puddings. At 6.50 per person wow xx
We had a lovely meal,the portions were of excellent standard, service was impeccable. Overall this is one eatery that is worthy if its awards. Covid 19 was in place and even though everyone was socially distanced, the charm and ambiance was thoroughly enjoyable thanks to the amazing team.
Great food, top chef. Inviting venue and highly recommended. Could do with a better pool table but everything else about this place is great!
