I love it here. The food is always top notch and the staff are friendly and helpful even when its busy (and it usually is!). It's best to book a table during holiday periods. This time it was the seafood sharing platter. 48 for 2 people and worth every penny.

Great food and friendly staff. Well spaced out during the current climate, highly recommend The Hart Inn for food and drinks best making a reservation to ensure that you are not turned away during these pressing times. The food portions are generous, and well presented. Will certainly visit again when I am in the area.
High-end pub grub and just yards from the beach. Nice beer garden if the weather permits. Highly recommended but definitely need to book in school hols!
Visited here last night based on the reviews and we were not disappointed with the food! The food was absolutely fantastic, total value for money for the taste and quantity! We had 3 small dogs and were accommodated to brilliantly. We had a lovely evening which was only to be ruined by one of the younger, male, members of staff having a break as we were just finishing our food - decided to non discretely snort up a lovely gobfull of phlegm and proceed to spit it out into the carpark. Followed by him shouting 'COVID' after someone sneezed. Absolutely vile, no apology or acknowledgement of having done it knowing full well paying guests were sat outside - whether we were eating or not!
Love a visit to The Hart Inn, Sandsend! The seafood platter is huuuuuge! I had the seafood platter but couldn't finish it, however staff were great and packaged up what was left for me to take away with me! Hubby had the chicken Parmesan again this was a massive serving but he did finish his. Great food, atmosphere and staff - Can't wait to pop back in x
